This auction is for a Bolex B8 Twin Lens Cine Camera Yvar Filtin 1:2.8 f=12.5mm f=36mm Parallax Corrector Prisms Ca.1953. This beautiful vintage 8mm cine movie camera is supplied with two Yvar lenses, a set of parallax corrector prisms in their original keeper, leather hand strap, all compactly packed in the original Bolex leather bag/pouch. This is a special collectors kitt. It is vintage and therefore there are signs of ageing and gentle use all round ? please study my pictures carefully to get a good impression of the cosmetic condition of this kitt.Regarding the Yvar FILTIN lens: This lens was introduced in 1954 and contained four (4) built in filters; yellow, red, "daylight" and "skylight". Filters could be selected by turning a knurled index ring. Four "no filter" positions were marked between each filter position. The Filtin could focus from 1 1/2 feet to infinity and close down to f/22.
